It's A Keeper!
I love it! My mac is the best toy ever! I'm having so much fun learning all of the possibilities. Blogger is completely different too... so it's taking awhile to find my way around. I can spell check when I leave comments now- WOW- I really needed that! (Eat your heart out Tom!) It takes me extra time to go through the steps to change the words but... I'm so excited with all of the possibilities. I haven't loaded my camera or tried iphoto yet... one step at a time. One thing's for sure- this is a BLESSING indeed!

Wow. Spell checking in comments. The only weigh I dew it is if I take the time, I cut and paste the text into Word and then re-paste it in the comment box. Butt I usually donnut take the time to dew htat, butt I'm getting better at spelling in my commends as you can sea.
Just kidding. Yes! I'm eating my heart out. Enjoy your Mac!
Tom~ I'm still laughing. You are too funny!
Good for you! So glad you're loving it now!
I have spell check on my comments and I think that is truly one of my favorite features too- because when I type fast, I need it!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Nancy. You are such a blessing to me!
Hugs,
~Tammy
Yes, indeed, you are having fun!
And just think of the fun if we get to connect in person! What a blessing that will be!
I am so glad that you like your Mac. I always wondered what the differences between them and a PC. I always wanted to see..but for now sticking with my Acer PC../.Have fun!! Sandy
Tammy~ I'm the worst speller that ever lived so this feature is one of my favorites. I'm sure more will crop up as I learn more but spell check on my comments has me pretty excited.
Dawn~ I can't even believe this is a possibility. I can't let myself get too excited yet... because I'm afraid it will fall through. ( For all of my readers out there- there is a chance that I will get to meet Dawn when she comes to NC in October. YEAH!)
Sandy~ The big drawing card for me was my crashes and virus problems should me nonexistent with the mac! So far, so good!
So glad you're enjoying your new Mac!
(I have had spell check on comments for sometime now, but don't have a Mac)
I thought most people had it, so this was news to me!
How fun you may get to meet Dawn!
xo
Susie~ I'm always delighted when you stop by because I know how many bloggers you keep up with. WOW! I don't know how you do it. Tammy said she had spell check too without a mac... go figure! I guess some of you have just been blessed and believe me... I count that as a blessing indeed!
I'm still hoping we can work out the details for Dawn's visit. I will be visiting my sister in Michigan during her visit to NC but she is going to try to stay and extra day just so we can get together. I can't wait.
It sounds like you're having a good time Nancy. I have a little envelope marked "lap top" and hope to have enough money saved so that when my big ole computer finally gives up the ghost I can buy one. I'm already trying to decide which one would be best. you make the Mac sound like a good choice, but I think I'm a bit intimidated. I'm so NOT computer literate.
Well - carry on having fun!
Linda~ I wasn't ready for a new one, financially, but I had to bite the bullet. I'm spoiled and can't do without my computer.... I'll do without food! hehe I know you could do it. It's very different but they have free tutorials and I'm not hesitant to call tech support which is free for 90 days.
LOL too funny!
I'm glad you are having such a great time with your new toy. :)
Cris~ It's good to hear from you. I wish I could spend more time learning new things but it will come... it just takes time. I'm sure you are staying busy with your church activities. I admire your dedication and hard work.
Some of my kids are sold on macs, we haven't gone that route yet. But spell check in comments sounds good, I make lots of typos!
Oh Gail, you would just love it! It has auto fill on everything which is also great. On my old computer I got so tired typing in my blogger user name and password... ALL THE TIME! Maybe when your present computer breaks down, you can consider a Mac.
