Their Engaged!

Katherine received a gorgeous diamond on Saturday from her fiancee Jared and now I am busy planning a wedding. I am just ecstatic with this great news and BLESSED that we (me and hubby) were able to meet them for dinner on Sunday night (we meet half way - a little over an hour for them and us) to celebrate and witness their excitement first hand. Jared had a very romantic proposal and we were impressed with his gentlemanly attitude in asking ahead of time for our blessings on their marriage. They have been dating since college, have good jobs, great attitudes, and seem so in love. It is such a BLESSING to know that true love still exists and that marriage to them is a sacred life long commitment. I am working on a summer wedding and I will keep you posted as this fairy tale unfolds.

Per your comment yesterday - I had the book in front of me to copy the words yesterday. But some of them I definitely am singing for memory.

Have a BLESSED day!

Congratulations! How wonderful! And what a great time you have ahead of you! My daughter was married a year and a half ago.....can't believe it was THAT long ago! A useful online tool (plus it's just fun to look around) that I used was www.theknot.com You'll find a ton of wedding organizers, a way to manage your guest list, RSVP's, etc., wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and yes, even Mother of the Bride dresses. You are hereinafter referred to as "MOB"!!!!

Enjoy!

Diane

Congratulations to all of you. They look so sweet. I know you're going to have a wonderful time. Isn't it wonderful when we see our prayers for our childrens' future mates answered? God is so good.

What a sweet blessing! Congratulations on your daughter's engagement! Her fiance' sounds like a true gentleman in every sense of the word. I can so relate, we have had both my son and my daughter get married within the last two years. I loved doing our daughters wedding! If you need any help or suggestions, just ask! :)

They make such a cute couple too!

My wife and daughter Emily are also enjoying their work for a June wedding. So far my role is "delighted onlooker" and I'm very fine with that. =).
