Graduation 2009

It was so much fun celebrating with my sisters family during her daughters graduation from high school.  I felt so honored to be a part of all the festivities, surrounded by 18 year old mature young adults, that renewed my faith in our younger generation.  They are bright, enthusiastic, adventurous, grounded, and intelligent.  Jordan thanks for letting me be a part of this very important day in your life.  You are a beautiful young lady with so many God given talents.  You have the future in the palm of your hand and I look forward to the great things that God has planned for your life.  I am so blessed to be a part of it all!

Hey, good to hear from you again. Sounds like you had a great trip. It is always good to be around really good kids, isn't it??

I hope things calm down for you a bit now and you can have a relaxing summer. I'm trusting that Kristen will be able to finish her school work here soon and the summer will be less hectic. No big trips planned here!

Hi Dawn, it was a great trip but also great to get back home. I hope all of the graduates can stay grounded as they head to college.

We are hiring a new director for the preschool but as soon as that's over my summer should calm down.

I hope things calm down for you too so you can enjoy your summer. I will keep Kristen in my prayers. Thanks for being so faithful with your comments and prayers...you are a blessing indeed!

Sandy- can you believe it's this hard to keep up with both. When I post on blogger, I immediately send it over to FB to get "double" out of the effort. I still enjoy blogging with my family stuff because some of them don't do FB. I'm so proud of your grandson's award and I know you are too. I will see you on FB, thanks for taking the time to stop by!

It is exciting to watch these young people graduate from school and embark on new experiences. It makes me wish I was young again.

We had two grandchildren graduate this year, one from grade school and one from high school.

Hi Dawn~ Thanks for continuing to check on me. I really don't think FB has taken all of my time but that is a factor. I have just hired a new director for my preschool program and things really are in a mess from problems created by our last director. I keep hoping I will see light at the end of the tunnel but so far....the preschool is taking so much time. I hope that once we get it back on track at the preschool- my schedule will slow down. I am in Chicago right now. Joe has a conference for the Hospital Board that he is a member of. I'm just having fun during the day and we are finding concerts and nice places to eat during the evening. A great little get away. Again, thanks for checking on me and yes, come to think of it, why don't you sign up for facebook! I'm heading your way right now to catch up.

We're supposed to be retired, remember?? Ha! Sounds like a very busy summer for you.

The trip with Joe sounds wonderful. DC went to college in Chicago and wants to show me the sights there.
