Twin Update

My grandniece twins are now 19 months old and continue to be such a blessing to me.  Their mom is senior pastor of the Methodist Church in Rutherford College, NC but they are still living in Shelby, NC until the parsonage renovations are complete.  The Shelby house has not sold yet, so please continue to pray for them, as they try to sell the house and make the adjustment to a new community and church.  Here are a few new pictures to give you an idea of what a blessing it is, to spend one day each week taking care of these precious gifts from GOD!
We love playing outside, especially with our Elmo dolls.
Can you say DOUBLE TROUBLE?
A kiss from me to YOU...
I love you Auntie Nancy!

They are just doubly adorable. If you're anything like me when I watch little ones, I know that you must sleep well after a day of caring for them!

Such fun. And I know exactly how much fun it is. Except we aren't chasing walkers yet! Their latest fun is making the biggest mess possible with toys, books, papers, etc.

Give them kisses from Grandma Dawn.

Oh my - I just bought Carli that same outfit, only in the dress - I couldn't resist! I've been gone and just saw your last comment about FB and will add you soon! I want to catch up on other things before I go back there - it really sucks me in!

I don't think I could handle twins, I'm sure that's why God hasn't blessed me w/em. (whew). Children are such a miracle that I don't know how people can deny them being created by our Heavenly Father. After Brea was born I would just sit in amazement and stare at her for hours. Sometimes I still will watch whats she doing, but not for hours anymore. I have so much video from her infancy of her just making all the babbling noises and the way she would communicate w/me in her baby ways.
How much more amazing would the miracle of twins be???!!!
They are beautiful, and so lucky to have you for a grand aunt!!!

What sweet photos of the twins.
Children are absolutely precious. I just adore watching them at play. They are definitely gifts from God; little angels. And you are an angel for helping out with them.

But where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday that your niece was about to give birth.

Julie~ Their grandmother keeps them dressed in the most adorable outfits-fashion divas for sure. I can't wait for FB friends but I'm just like you...it's easy to get sucked in!

Linda~ There is something special about twins and I feel blessed to experience the gift from God!

Deanne, your comments about Brea really touched my heart. I remember some of those same feeling when my two were born. God is so good!

Susie, it does seem like yesterday when you did your twin story and we were expecting these little ones. It's good to here from you!

Wow. They're getting big. I liked the picture of Joe hunting, too.

Julie and I also dated three years before we go married (actually 2 years and 9 months since we married in June and srarted dating in the fall it wasn't quite 3 full years).

Our Kim has been home form MBI in Chicago. It's great to have her back. She has been writing letters pertaining to her summer internship in Croatia. It's good to have her home--especially since she'll be gone 9 weeks of the summer.

Tom~ Can you tell I've been busy lately? I skipped you and I'm so sorry. How could I do this to one of my most loyal readers? Please forgive me. I read it as soon as you posted the comment because it sends it to my inbox, but I've been so distracted that I just now realized I skipped you.

I look forward to hearing more about Kim's trip and I hope you have a great weekend!

Cris~ Their hair is getting longer...finally! I can't wait to play beauty parlor.
