Family Easter Fun

This family photo includes my daughter Katherine on the left, my niece Meredith visiting from Michigan in the  middle, and my son Ben on the right.  I only had them for one night but I'll take what I can get... they all have such busy full lives, and live too far away to visit very often.  If you look to the far left you will see grand-dog, Mimi, stalking around in search of something to get into.  She is a delightful labradoodle puppy, full of energy, and always in search of a new adventure.  My life has been so busy lately, some of it good, some of it not so good but it has prevented me from blogging and I've missed all of my blogging friends.  I hope to catch up soon with all that's going on in your lives and maybe things will slow down SOON, which would be a blessing indeed!

Nancy, I know what you mean about being torn away from your blogging. Life is not supposed to be this busy for folks of a certain age...but it is.

Hope you had a nice Easter with your family.

Nancy,
We know you've been busy, but it's good to see you able to share again. Sounds like you had a wonderful Easter (and that your niece forgave those Tarheels for whoopin' up on our Spartans last week).

I have been out of circulation, too. I feel way behind in blog reading.

There is a little brown church in Nashua, Iowa, that claims to be the "real McCoy." I went to a wedding there once. It was so little that only about 60 people can squeeze inside--really cute and it dates back to the old song.

Tom~ The rivalry does exist and my older niece will attend Michigan State next year.

I loved the new information on the Little Brown Church. When I wrote that blog entry, I thought about you and wished that I had time to google, find the actual song and some history, as you always do for your blog. Thanks for stopping by and for not being too angry with your Carolina blogger, when UNC beat your team.

Hi Nancy,
Glad you had a blessed Easter with your family. I know from Facebook some of your challenges and totally understand why you haven't blogged much. I've been doing less and less myself.

It's so good to hear from you again Nancy. It is great to be able to spend time with our grown kids. I feel the same - it just isn't often enough, but we'll take what we can get.
I hope all is well Nancy.
Have a blessed sunday.

Dawn and Linda, thanks for stopping by. Things were some better last week but the preschool goes back this week and I will be spending some extra time there this week. Hope you both have a great week!
