Vase from India
My daughter-in-law (DIL) brought me this beautiful vase back from a mission trip to India. It is made of metal and the village people hand make them for souvenirs as their source of income. She was able to go to the village where these were made and work with the people as they were making the metal items. It is indeed a BLESSING to have a Christian DIL that sacrificed her time to go to a foreign country to minister to others and then to remember her mother-in-law in such a special way. I think of her and her sacrifice each time I fill my vase with flowers from my garden and ask God's BLESSINGS on her and the people of India that labor to make these items.

Nancy, How beautiful!! Also how wonderful to have a daughter in law and a Christian one at that too. I do not have one!! I had one for about 2 years and then she decided that she no longer wanted to be married!! Oh well maybe it was for the best!! She said she was a Christian too. Just messed up my son's life though. Thanks for stopping by today!! Hope your day is going great. Sandy
What a wonderful DIL that you have and what beautiful flowers. I love spring. I love flowers. Flowers make me smile from the inside out.
Such a thoughtful gift from your sweet DIL! The colors are gorgeous!

What a beautiful vessel for the daffodils! My first two popped out yesterday. Such a great gift!
It is beautiful!! You are indeed blessed to have such a sweet, loving DIL. The thoughtfulness of her gift will bless you every time you see it ( just as you said).

Beautiful vase and enjoyed hearing about your dear daughter in law! As always-thank you so much for sharing these blessings with us.
That is so sweet!! I have begun to pray for my future Daughter in love and son in love for my children.. whom are 16 & 11.. never to early to start praying right?? I hope to someday be loved by my children's spouses and to love them as if they were my own!! This vase is a beautiful reminder!!
I like the walking stick in the background, too.
So beautiful...what a sweet gift from her, and such a great reminder to pray for someone special whenever you see their gift and be thankful for them!
What a sweet post! And I love the vase too.
I named you one of my five Thinking Blogger Award recipients today. Well deserved!
I forgot to thank you for yesterday's comment - I'm happy you've been reading our stories. They are definitely stories of God's power. We have been through it, but God has been with us every step of the way, even when we couldn't see Him or necessarily feel Him. He was there.
