Meticulous Details

I have always been fascinated by our amazing universe and the meticulous details that only God could have added during His creation. At sunset, Saturday evening, we have the opportunity to witness one of God's meticulous details- a Lunar Eclipse! The alignment of the Sun, Earth and Moon could produce a spectacular, red moonrise- during sunset, if the weather cooperates. Observing one of God's meticulous details during a Lunar Eclipse- now that will be a BLESSING indeed! I hope the weather cooperates and that you have a great weekend watching the Lunar Eclipse on Saturday.

Agreed and ONLY GOD could have done this..ONLY GOD could put together all that we see and enjoy every day of our blessed lives!! I never have understood how people think that our earth started with a bang!! smile!! That is just so silly to me...
Thanks for stopping by today.

It is something to look forward to. It's so true that God put everything together so beautifully - as evidenced also by the mountain pictures you commented on yesterday.

Thanks so much for letting us know about that. I love watching things like that. I've been known to stand out in my front yard at three o'clock in the morning looking for meteor showers!! God is so amazing.

I have GOT to remember to look for that! I knew the moon was going to be full but I didn't realize there was to be an eclipse. How awesome!!

I never thought of this before, but of all the reasons and explanations for why it's important that earth has a moon... one of them must be that it ties us all together as a common focal point. We're all disconnected all over the place and yet we can look up and night and see the same moon. Even when there's no eclipse, that's pretty amazing in and of itself.

Oh my goodness, I forgot about this and it's tonight, Nancy. THANK YOU for reminding me. We'll be in the back yard with heavy coats on but I surely don't want to miss this.

It is indeed absolutely incredible. I have being picking out the window and watching.
Breath taking!!!!
I would stand outside but is so cold right now. 30 degrees.
When I did go out to get some firewood, I thought to myself I wonder what people of earliet times must have thought. Did this scare them as they sat in the night watched the moon changing from just to a clip to a full moon? Did they wonder if God was talking to them or if it was the end?
Many blessings to you!!!!
