Just Swingin'

I'm back after a very busy, yet fulfilling Christmas with friends and family.  My daughter-in-law took this picture of me swinging, in this gorgeous wooded area near the Guilford College campus, on Christmas Eve.  Hubby and I attended Ben's Christmas Eve service and were then treated to a delicious meal at their home, with friends and family.

I hope I never get to old to enjoy swinging in the breeze, surrounded by God's beautiful creation.  Taking time to enjoy the moment... a BLESSING indeed!
Now, I'm off to visit all my friends in bloggerville, and catch up on what you've been up to while I was enjoying my Christmas.

Great picture. Sounds like a wonderful evening. December is a month where the blessings of real life take front seat over other things (like blogging) that fade a bit in the glow of time with family and friends.

Tom~ You always phrase it with eloquence... your words just sway in the breeze like me in the swing. Thanks for taking the time to check in... I know your schedule has been hectic lately.

I'm still laughing about the childhood song that you posted. I can't get that tune out of my head and for some reason the word "Camelot" just doesn't sound the same anymore ;-)
