Grand Indeed

Meet Boone, my very first Grand-Dog! His parents are my daughter and SIL that live in Winston-Salem. They met and fell in love during their college years, which just happened to be in the town of Boone, NC... thus the name BOONE! Boone is a red bone hound which in my neck of the woods would be a coon dog. Just look at that sweet face, he's not as GRAND as a grand kid but this is a great start... and that is a BLESSING INDEED!

He's a beautiful color. I think we have a "coon hound" next door that makes a very mournful sound when he's home alone (well, he has other dogs, but without people).

You read about my new grandpuppy, didn't you?

Dawn~ Yes, Kev and Sema looked so happy with their puppy.

So far, Boone doesn't "howl" but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Have a great weekend!

Cris~ Thanks... adorable indeed!

Linda~ Yes, it's a start and good preparation for a baby. They've had to get up during the night to take him out... great practice!

That is a good place to start!
Your son & wife's house in your other post is so cute and what fun for them to be starting a ministry. I have inlaws in Greensboro, we have only been there 1 time though for a wedding; they go to a Presbyterian church.

Gail~ Let me know if you ever head back to Greensboro... I could try to meet up with you.

This is a great start for Jared and Katherine. As you know, puppies require so much care, love and devotion.

Ben and Jenny are really enjoying the church so far. I get to go hear him preach next Sunday and I can't wait!

What a great GRAND DOG!! WE had a grand cat but she passed away sadly!! I know my son hated to loose her and it was all of the company that he had. He had her for many many years. Hope your weekend is going great. Sandy

Sandy~ Our pets become members of our family and are missed deeply once they are gone. I'm allergic to cats but I still love them.

A great weekend so far... no rain! Thanks for stopping by.

Nice coon dog! As for me, I have a labradoodle. He's not allowed on the couch though.

Hi JR~ I haven't heard from you in awhile. Thanks for stopping by. I have a labradoodle too and she is the best dog in the whole world. Do you have any pictures on your blog? The last one of Elmo is probably in late May if you want to go to my archives.

How's teaching? Do you teach in the summer?

Please stop back by more often!
