Out of the Ashes
Out of the ashes, we slowly try to put one foot in front of the other and face tomorrow. The ground is still shaky and our center of gravity seems to have shifted. Even though the sun is shining, there is a haze in the air and things aren't as clear as they once were. Focus, even on the simplest task, seems to be a monumental undertaking and our hearts are heavy- even though there is a hole of emptiness there. Yet, there is one thing we know for sure- PRAYER WORKS and that is a blessing indeed! Thank you for yours.

Continued prayers are being said.
We had only a hint of "what ifs" yesterday morning, and it made me feel weak and inadequate in faith. You are in these dear friends' lives for a reason. I don't think it's possible to know how many "perfect strangers" are praying for all of you through this time.
Chris, Thank you for your continued prayers. Words just can't adequately explain how much it means.
Tom, The "what ifs" of your fire and this one are making a lot of people give there kids extra hugs along with those precious words"I love you"! Thanks for your continued prayers and for passing the word.
Hi Nancy,
I think of you and your family often. My prayers continue.
((hugs))
I can't even fathom the pain, but thankful that you are pushing through and going on. Tell her parents we are all thinking of them so often.
Sue- Thanks for always stopping by with your postive attitude!
Dawn- You have had your share of "ups and downs" in life and your faith in God is an inspiration to me.
Thankfully there are some things that we can hold fast to. Continuing to pray for all of you.
Linda- Thanks for stopping by and for the prayers. Have a great weekend.
