Coincidence
Instead of using the word coincidence, I prefer to use the word "Godincidence" because I feel that every event in my life (even the pain, struggles, and misfortune) has happened for a purpose and I routinely look around me seeking out "for what purpose have I been placed in this moment of time"? I witnessed a "Godincidence" moment this past Sunday morning. I normally attend the 2nd worship service and I do a children's sermon for this service at least once every 6 weeks. This past Sunday the pastor had me do the children's sermon for the early service because the children would be singing in the 2nd service and there wasn't enough time for the children's sermon in the 2nd service. As the children walked down to the alter for the children's sermon, I was delighted to see a former student attending. She is also the student that I tutor each Wednesday in our church after school program for at risk children. When I taught her in public school she often talked about church, so it never occurred to me to invite her to my church- but there she was with her family attending my church. I think the two of us hugged for at least 10 minutes and I spent extra time after the service letting her parents know how much I appreciated them visiting our church. I truly believe that God had all of this planned (even down to a way to get me to the first service) and that I was just his vessel. Now that is what I call a "Godincidence" and that is a blessing indeed!

What a wonderful story of how God orchestrates so many things in our lives. I love it!
I'm still learning things about you and didn't know you tutored at-risk children. Now THAT is a blessing, and what a ministry you have!
wonderful and what is the great thing is that you can see that it was indeed a GOD thing! That is the great part. Sandy
Dear Nancy,
Wonderful story here--To God be the Glory!
Caught up on all your blessings! Congratulations on the precious birth of the oh-so-sweet little twins!
I do hope all is straightened about your car and so glad no one was hurt!
Blessings to You! Claudia O.
oohh, I got chills just reading that. I agree, that was definitely a Godincedince and truly a blessing indeed.
There is no such thing as coincidence, and I agree with you that God works these things out - long before we ever know. What a great story!
Isn't that cool when it happens. I sooooo agree with your thoughts about providential Godincidences. We don't always see them in the moment, but when they do it's like... finding God's thumbprint on a gift.
Tammy- The after school program is sponsored by my church and the students are referred by their teachers from the local elementary school. They usually stay in the program for 5 years so you can really see the progress that they make. It is a blessing indeed.
Sandy- You are right is is a "God Thing" and a blessing.
Claudia- I am glad you stopped by. I have missed you. You are right Glory be to God!
Chris- You are always so faithful about stopping by and that is a blessing to me.
Dawn- Yes, God is in charge and has it all together for us if we just wait for his timing.
Tom- "God's thumbprint on a gift"... you have such a way with words- that is such a profound statement and I love it! Just perfect and I am going to remember it (I will have to write it down to remember it and then I will just hope that I remember where I wrote it down)! It is finally cooler in NC- YEA!!!!!!!!!!
