Memories

Love, laughter, happiness, and joy... that's what Emily brought to my life and I am a better person for having her as my Goddaughter. Life as we knew it before October 28, 2007, has forever changed but all of our fond memories for this vivacious, adorable, young lady will comfort us, as we try to start a new chapter in our lives without her. She lived life to the fullest and would want all of her family and friends to do the same, so we WILL- by taking each new day one step at a time ... appreciating all of the BLESSINGS along the way.

Thank you for all of your kind thoughts, prayers and support.

I am so glad to read this and see the picture of this beautiful young lady. I've been watching news articles for a picture, but so far nothing. I'm guessing, from what I've read, that she was high school friends with these kids who went to different schools?

At about the same time this happened, I gave you an award, but have not wanted to mention it before. When you have time, go back and read the last blog or two to find it.

Nancy,
I can't imagine the sorrow and love that has mingled in your home this week. I hope you have been free to rejoice in her memory and to weep with those who weep. Shared tears are a blessing of the highest order. (Even this photo reminds me of the girls I mentioned in the previous post.)
We'll be praying for you and her family.
