Not Again!
This time it is the front of my car that got smashed! (See the August 9th post for the rear end crash!) We had been visiting the baby twins in Charlotte on Friday night and were on our way home, when hubby crashed into the side of a truck. The truck was speeding through a light and both drivers thought they had the green light. The insurance companies will have to decide because no tickets were given. Both my car and his truck had to be towed. We have not yet heard if the adjuster will total my car. There are two BLESSINGS in this event. None of us were hurt... not even a scratch! The other is that Katherine had also been visiting the twins at the hospital and arrived at the crash scene about 2 minutes after it happened. She was able to drive us back to our home which is about an hours drive from Charlotte. Now that is a blessing indeed!

Those sure ARE blessings - no one hurt and K coming along right afterwards. Here in BC, whoever hits the other one is usually at fault. Hopefully, there was a camera at the intersection that can prove the other guy ran a red light. So glad you weren't injured!
I am so glad that you are both okay!! WOW!! That must have been a loud and ear shattering noise too!! I can only image what it felt like!! Was your car totaled?
Blessings....
WOW!!! My front tire was nothing compared to your front end! So sorry, but glad noone was hurt. By the way, my attitude was so bad and that's why I started listing the things I have to be thankful for!
You are indeed truly blessed. My little bump is a mere nothingness.
So glad you're all OK..
How are the little twins doing?
xo
This is just a little reminder of how the network of bloggers is "far apart" and close at the same time. Think of the many, many people who are relieved that you and yours are okay after this accident.
I'm glad everyone is ok! Bummer on the cars though.
That sounds like my son in TX, he's been hit or had his car stolen 4+ times in a couple of years.
My word!!! It's hard to believe noone was hurt. What a blessing. I'm so glad you were all okay. Now comes the fun part. I just really dislike working with insurance companies.
Glad to know you and your husband are safe and sound.
Please take care.
Leslie- I hadn't thought about the camera. In a large city like Charlotte, I bet they have cameras. Thanks for the hint!
Sandi- We should find out today (Wednesday) if it is totaled. It was loud and scary.
NancyG- Glad you stopped by... I think it is perfectly normal to have a bad attitude at times but you turned it around with gratitude and that is a blessing indeed.
Susie- The twins weigh 4lbs now and I am headed back to Charlotte today (Wednesday). They are going to be going home in about 3 weeks if all goes well. Pray for a safe trip this time.
POI- As always, you let me know how thankful I am- especially for this blogging world of supporters. It does mean alot to me... THANKS!
Gail- Bummer is a great way to put it but I got a good rental care to get me through until this is over.
Linda- It is hard to believe no one was hurt. I call it a miracle!
Hilary- Thanks for stopping by and for your best wishes! I need them as I head back to Charlotte today.
Oh wow Nancy! I am definitely glad to hear that no one was hurt! I hope all works out well with the insurance company. (((((((((HUGS))))))))
so glad you guys were okay! Ouch!
Wow! What are the odds?! I am so thankful that you're all okay!
Thanks so much for your kind words on my last post.
Chris- Good to hear from you and thanks for the hugs. The damage is $8,900 and needed $1,000 more to be totaled so we will get it fixed.
Christine- I am glad you stopped by. I have missed your latest but will get by soon. I hope things are fine with the kids.
Dawn- You are always my encourager and I am delighted when you stop by daily blessings.
