In the Beginning

HAPPY NEW YEAR! It is a brand new year and a time for new beginnings. The Bible tells us that in the beginning there was God. How appropriate for me to think of this new year as a new beginning and an opportunity to strive to put God first in all areas of my life. Because of Him, I am... therefore I should be thankful and look at all of my BLESSINGS as divine gifts... placing God before everything else in my life. May each of you experience the abundance of God's BLESSINGS in 2007.

In the beginning....the right place to start and the right place to remember!! Good of you to think of that!! My mind has not been in that place lately. Many things have been going on in flip flop floozie's life as of late!! But things are going to get better...we have a new chance to START again..right??? Thanks for stopping by as always.

Aww, so well put! It is with such eager anticipation that we enter the New Year. A clean slate with so much opportunity, challenges, celebrations and all while knowing He is right there with us.

You are going to have so much fun planning and helping your lovely Daughter with her wedding. I will enjoy watching it all unfold and blossom! :)

Nancy, what a beautiful sentiment for the new year. Loved reading about your daughter's engagement and I'm sure you will enjoy every minute of planning...how fun. Also, loved the entry about the Christmas bear. It brought tears to my eyes...what a wonderful gift.

What a great attitude to have. Using God as a reason for blessings is a fantastic way of looking at things. I like hearing when God is used in such a positive context like this.
