Wedding Count Down
Wedding Blessings with just a week to go.... 1. We have 396 guests coming 2. Our living room is full of beautiful gifts 3. The crepe myrtles in the front yard are blooming just in time 4. I found a great cleaning service to come next week 5. We have had a little rain and the grass is turning green again 6. I have a permanent smile on my face 7. I am so excited 8. God is GOOD! Thanks for being patient with me. I look forward to catching up on all of your blogs.

It's a good thing you're retired, because catching up is going to be a full time job for awhile! It sounds like you're having a wonderful time. I can't wait to see pictures. - especially of you, the MOTB in that beautiful pink gown.
I'll be gone all next week, aand will probably not have computer access. But I do get to meet Diane, the prodigal encourager!

Want to hear something I did a few days before Em's wedding? I found her old "blanky" that she slept with for umpteen years, tore off a small corner of the ratty thing, and tucked it inside the fold of the hanky she had for "something old something new; something borrowed, something blue." She didn't know it was there until I told her this week.
Nancy,I actually envy you for the freshness of the joy you are about to experience. It was the highlight of our summer three weeks to the day from your event.
I feel funny stacking comments like this with no one else in between, but these are actually several days apart. I woke up early this morning and did some of the "catching up" you mention--I've been reading at places I enjoy but got way behind in... so don't feel bad if it takes several weeks before you get caught up.
Well... today is the day. We just got our DVD from my brother (who is a videographer). We watched it last night... twice. I've added two video links in the first few lines of When It Hit Me.
I prayed for "y'all" this morning...and that this special day would unfold in ways that reflect the blessing you and your husband and family have been to others.
Today is the day! How exciting and congratulations to the Happy couple on their wedding day. :)
