38 DAYS!

I have been busy planning, partying, cleaning, confirming, addressing, cutting, cooking, fittings,etc... (as Tom put it, "knee deep") and in just 43 days this beautiful couple will be MR. and MRS.! It has been stressful and I am sure it will get worse before it gets better, but I am BLESSED to be a part of this special lifetime event. Thanks for your kind comments and for stopping by to say "hi" even when I don't have time to visit your blog ( this has been an unexpected BLESSING and that is heartwarming). I will be back!

What a good looking couple!! Don't worry about the blogging community. We will all be here once you get through this wedding. Family is more important anyway!!

I was glad to come over and see this great picture and know what you've been busy doing! We can hardly wait to see Barb's pictures in less than two weeks, and then yours in a little over a month.

Enjoy every moment!

Blogger ate my P.S. I was saying that I just read an article on MSN.com about N. Carolina beaches giving Florida and Hawaii and run for their money. Maybe we should come down there for our 35th in December, but it's probably not tropically warm then, or is it??

I can imagine that your time is filled up with all kinds of things having to do with putting together a wedding. Been there, done that myself.

Don't worry about blogging. Just enjoy the opportunity you have to be such an important part of an important event in the lives of two people you love.

What a good looking couple!

They look so happy. Have fun helping with the wedding. If things start getting too stressful never forget to just take a step back and a deep breath. And don't worry about us, we'll still be here when you get back. :)

Two weeks from tomorrow night is our rehearsal dinner. Things are going fine. The RSVPs are up to about 350. The church we're using doesn't hold much more. Some days I think I'm doing fine with it all; other days are a bit sentimental. My wife Julie is in the mode you'v been in--so focused and busy on the details that she just can't wait for the event. I think it's after the event that it will hit her. Just get me past the aisle part and I think I'll enjoy it. =)
