Fancy Nancy

Me, FANCY NANCY, no way...but this was a delightful Mother's Day gift from my daughter. I love children's literature and have two story hours for children each month, where I share my love for reading and books (which is a BLESSING indeed). So, you can imagine my excitement when I received this book, named after ME! Well not really, but I can pretend can't I. I look forward to sharing my new book with my story hour groups, where they call me Ms. Nancy not Fancy Nancy!

Wow- Fancy Nancy - how cute is that? I think it's wonderful that you do a story hour. It reminds me of how much I loved reading to my children. That's a great thing to do Nancy.
Have a wonderful, blessed weekend.

What a fun book title for you! Do you go to the library for story hour? The girls and I used to go to story time every Wednesday or Friday, but now that I'm working in the morning, we can't do it any more. We still go to the library, of course, and bring home WAY too many books every time. But we all love reading together so much.

There is also a song named Nancy. Frank Sinatra made it popular, I think. It went something like this, "Nancy with the laughing face.."

I always thought Nancy was a lovely name.

I've seen that book before. I think that is a great blessing for the kids...and who knows, they may just start calling you fancy Nancy after you read that story to them. :P
